To capture the essence of Spanish colonial style, we used a warm and saturated color palette, incorporated rich wood tones in flooring, furnishings, and ceilings, and added architectural details like arches and beams throughout. Our vision was for this property to celebrate the style and spirit of its location while feeling fresh and current—a place where residents feel inspired to live, work, and play.
Challenges:
Integrating arches into the leasing area posed a challenge due to HVAC requirements. We found an alternative HVAC solution that preserved the arches as a key ceiling feature.
Additionally, the faux wood beams originally planned stretched the budget, so we opted for a cost-effective alternative: gypsum beams wrapped in wood-look wall covering, preserving the aesthetic without overspending.
