Hillwood Communities’ Harvest development in Argyle, Texas, Harvest House brings a new multifamily living experience to a community with deep ties to the land and its history. The 349-residence development was envisioned with a sophisticated, modern farmhouse character, using a restored farmhouse at the heart of the property as both an architectural anchor and a source of inspiration for the surrounding amenity experience.

A Sense of Place | Honoring the Past Without Recreating It

For Thiel & Team, the opportunity was to create something that felt connected to Harvest while still offering residents a fresh, elevated experience. Rather than interpreting farmhouse design literally, the team developed a cleaner, more contemporary expression through thoughtful finishes, custom millwork, architectural and decorative lighting, furnishings, artwork, and accessories.

Amenity Design | Creating Spaces for Everyday Connection

Thiel & Team provided Interior Design services for nearly 9,700 square feet of multifamily amenity space, including the leasing center, clubhouse, resident workspace, fitness center, pool restrooms, and a one-bedroom model. The clubhouse design was centered around the ways residents actually use shared spaces, with areas to gather, work, relax, and connect woven together into a cohesive experience.

Indoor and Outdoor Living | One Connected Experience

Approximately 3,000 square feet of covered outdoor patio extends the amenity experience beyond the clubhouse. Thiel & Team considered the relationship between interior and exterior amenity spaces throughout the design, coordinating with the landscape architect to establish a natural flow between the clubhouse, pool, and outdoor lounge areas.

Interior Design + Procurement | Carrying the Vision Through

From finishes, lighting, and millwork to furniture, artwork, and accessories, Thiel & Team approached each layer of the project as part of one larger story. Procurement services carried that vision through purchasing, coordination, delivery, and installation, helping ensure the completed spaces remained true to the original design intent.

The result is a multifamily amenity experience that feels distinctly connected to Harvest. Warm, welcoming, and rooted in its surroundings, Harvest House honors the character of the community while giving residents a place designed for how they live today.
