Recently acquired by new ownership, the nation’s only NFL-themed golf club was poised for a bold transformation. Situated in an affluent community surrounded by luxury resorts, this popular venue for private events—such as golf tournaments, corporate meetings, and weddings—was ready to expand its offerings and elevate its brand presence. With a fresh vision, the new ownership aimed to reimagine the club as a flagship property, introducing a three-phase restaurant, patio, and entertainment concept that would cater to the neighboring community, resort guests, and beyond.
The first phase of this ambitious project involved adding a state-of-the-art dining and sports bar-style patio to the existing clubhouse. Designed as a seamless extension of the original architecture, the patio incorporated key design elements like stone columns and dark-stained beams, ensuring harmony with the club’s established aesthetic. This approach also opened up interior sightlines, flooding the clubhouse with natural light and connecting the architectural “dots” between old and new.
The new patio was envisioned as a dynamic space with dual functionality. Spacious enough to host private events like weddings and corporate gatherings, yet intimate enough for casual dining or post-golf relaxation, it became a revenue-generating centerpiece. A commanding fireplace added warmth and ambiance, while heaters, misters, and fans were integrated to extend the patio’s usability across seasons. Diverse seating options—including lounge areas and dining tables—offered flexibility for guests to enjoy the stunning views and inviting atmosphere.
This addition was strategically designed to dovetail with phase three of the project, which includes a groundbreaking outdoor entertainment concept. Once completed, the club will offer a first-of-its-kind destination experience, combining golf, dining, drinks, and interactive entertainment for an unforgettable evening.
