Emily is a registered architect at Thiel & Team and is a natural mentor and leader with twenty years of industry experience. Emily is a master juggler, balancing work with family life by spending quality time with her husband, two daughters, and pets. When she’s not collaborating with designers and consultants, she keeps busy with her children’s school activities, sports, and serving in her church.

Before joining Thiel & Team in 2021, Emily worked at Merriman Anderson Architects, T. Howard and Associates, and Cross Timbers Architects. Her broad range of experience has led to a diverse portfolio of project types including hospitality, multi-family, single-family, mixed-use, office, retail, restaurants, and historic preservation. Emily has helped multiple historic projects successfully receive millions of dollars in tax incentives. She was the project manager for the historic renovation of 1700 Commerce in Dallas, which won the Topping Out Award in 2017.

Emily graduated Cum Laude with her Bachelors of Science in Architecture from the UTA in 2005. She graduated with her Master of Architecture from UTA in 2011, where she was a recipient of the UTA Academic Excellence Award. Emily is licensed in Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Colorado, and Georgia.
