Our team has earned the trust of one of Texas’ largest healthcare systems and has an expanding roster of medical office projects. While we are primarily focused on interior projects, we are quickly expanding into core/shell MOB design. You will work with a group of highly talented professionals who produce amazing work and have a ton of fun doing it. You will work on all phases of a project from SD, DD, CD’s and CA.

Hybrid work environment but candidate must currently live in the DFW metroplex.

Authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We currently do not sponsor work visas.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to team in maintaining technical excellence in drawing standards.
  • Develop creative and innovative design ideas, concepts, and solutions.
  • Provide timely QA/QC of construction documents, and sign/seal documents according to the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements.
  • Travel to project locations as needed for field verification, construction coordination, and contractor supervision.
  • Assist team with production of deliverables for all project phases including, but not limited to space plans, schematic design package, design development package, construction documents, submittal reviews, and revisions.
  • Prepare RFP’s for sub-consultants when onboarded by T&T. Create sub-consultant scope and obtain proposals from multiple vendors. Oversee sub-consultant questions, and coordinate with Team for proposal.
  • Coordinate with all sub-consultants.
  • Mentor staff on T&T drawings standards, REVIT standards, current codes, etc. including red-lining construction documents, assisting with training classes, assist in maintaining detail library, and coordination with BIM manager.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with Client, providing exceptional service.
  • Act as a main point of contact with Client, leading design presentations and construction administration efforts.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional experience with medium size medical office projects.
  • Experience with interiors medical office projects preferred.
  • Experience leading project teams.
  • Current licensure in the state of Texas required.
  • REVIT proficiency required, rendering with Enscape is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain excellent Client relationships.
  • Strong mentoring and communication skills in a collaborative environment.
